We take pride in the care we
give our guests. It's as close to home as you'll find, in
an extremely safe, loving environment.
Vaccination Requirements
We require proof that dhlp-p, rabies, and kennel cough vaccinations
are up-to-date. You can fax your forms to 860-491-3871 or
bring them with you. We will make copies for you here while
you wait, or simply retrieve the originals when you return
from your trip. In a pinch, we'll accept verbal confirmation
from your vet's office, but prefer to have the documents on
file. Regretfully, any unvaccinated dogs will not be allowed
to stay with us. Please feel free to have your vet phone
or fax us in advance concerning this information. Thanks in
advance for being prepared with your vaccinations and documentation!
Bookings
We require at least three days notice for a cancellation.
If we do not receive this notice, you are required to pay
half the full amount of your reservation. Of course, if we're
able to re-book your spot, you will then owe nothing. We also
need to know if someone other than you will be picking up
your dog, because without this notification, your dog will
not be allowed to leave.
Doggy
Menu
We provide the highest quality menu here, consisting of the
very best brands. We will follow your home feeding schedule,
so please be prepared to help us out with amounts and times.
We ask that home foods be portioned out into zip-lock
bags or some type of sealable container for better organization
and to avoid us having to handle those 50 lb. bags! We will
offer bones, treats, toys, etc., so let us know if any of
these are no-no's. If your dog has a dietary or digestive
problem, let us know. We'll gladly cook rice, chicken, hamburger
or any combination of the three for them. |
Medications & Special Care
Medications are administered at $1 per day, per medicine.
Please let us know about treatments or health concerns prior
to drop off. All medical problems must be cleared with Sue
at least 72 hours in advance of your drop-off, including
casts, wraps, special vet instructions, and injectable medications.
Exercise &
Play Time
We are very hands-on here, and all dogs are exercised daily.
You can be assured your pet we have at least 6-8 hours of
outdoor time per day. We have several large areas to let
them free run and are pleased to announce the expansion
of our outside area starting this spring/summer. Our indoor/outdoor
area is covered and climate controlled, so your pet is never
out in pouring rain, freezing weather, or any other inclement
condition all day.
Play time is also included free of charge
while your pet stays with us. We provide balls, bones, and
stuffed toys.
If you prefer, you can always send a favorite toy along
from home. Treats may also be purchased here at the kennel.
